  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' YACHT FISHERMAN (1970 - 1981)
Hi All,

I am looking to install carpeting In the Salon and Bedrooms and I don't know If I Imagined it or actually saw the following description on a boat.

Deep Navy blue tight weave with small gold anchors on the diagonal, each spaced about a foot apart from each other. I searched on the Internet and can't find anything that resembles the description.

If anyone knows of business that might carry something like the above I would appreciate any tips / info to point me in the right direction.

Thanks

I found this online, It's wallpaper not a rug but It's pretty close to what I was looking for.

I saw that pattern on a 1969 53' MY in San Francisco. I had a casual conversation with the owner 3 years ago. I commented on the carpet pattern then. I'm sorry to say that was the first and last time I spoke to him. I just wanted you to know the pattern is out there.

Thanks Seven for giving me some hope....I appreciate you remembering.

I googled Carpet with anchor patterns. This is what came up.

Thanks Seven for the source material and Cricket (that's pretty close to what I am looking for)....I will contact stargatecinema and see if they can put me in touch with the carpet manufacturer and see if the have any other carpets.

if you do not succeed, try calling carpets of dalton in GA. That area is home to a large portion of the US carpet mfg. They could likely call the right plant and find out when it will be run again.

Also, carpet there is about 1/2 price vs just Atlanta, and shipping is not that bad, depending on distance obviously.

Just replaced ours on the boat, and sourced from them. Use a rubber pad. much more comfortable.

Thanks Mal, for the lead and I will check out the website and call them too.
Also, the rubber padding....makes good sense, thanks.

Thanks.
