I have just pulled an Onan MDKWB 9kw 240v 60hz genset out of our boat. This generator has only 1725 hours on the motor, and the backend has app. 800 hrs on it as Onan replaced it in 2002. The reason I pulled it out of our boat is that we really needed at least a 12.5kw genset for our boat.
