Need a used Marquipt style 1500lb davit

My hoist is broken. thinking about "upgrading" to a more modern hoist. needs to be about 1500lb capacity. used, not working is fine. I'll rebuild. Thanks.

What is broken, the tube itself or the winch? Whaler too heavy?

Check out quick lift, they re Made here locally and very well designed. We have the 1500lbs model on charmer, has a hydraulic pack with 3 axis movement... B read for sticker shock though, unless they may know of a used one... The owner, Sal, is very efficient. I only had to call them twice so far but good service. when the pump relay got stuck and caused the pump to overheat, he got us the part delivered to FTL exec to be flown to Staniel the next day.

There is a guy doing a complete refit of an older 72CPMY next to me here at lamb's in Jacksonville. He just replaced his 1500lb Marquipt davit with a new electronic one. He wants to sell the old one. It looks to be in very good shape. He offered it to me for $4500 but it really wouldn't be worth it to me. My 1,000lb davit works fine, although it doesn't look that great. Do you want me to put you in touch with him?
