  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
34' CONVERTIBLE (1965 - 1969)
O.K as decided at last year’s rendezvous it will be at Mystic Seaport CT.
http://www.mysticseaport.org/

I have Secured up to 15 slips for July 29th and 30th.

Dinner Saturday night will be a catered affair on the grounds of the Seaport.
Details to follow but I will be securing the Galley this week and it will be held there or the boat house if it becomes available will know that next month.

So you can send the dock-master Len Sawyer a email with your info.

Name
Address
Boat Name
Length
Power needed
c.c # etc

Also add you are part of the Hatteras Owners Forum.
Anyone can pay for my slip also ;)

Email may be the best since the Dock master is only there between 12:00 & 13:00 until May 1st then he goes full time.

Being a member saves you money on the slip and is well worth joining if you’re not a member yet. http://www.mysticseaport.org/index....e&page_id=A7842930-AE5C-AADE-B3F2F6C1BE371029

Should be a Great time as Usual.

Ah man, I'd love to visit Mystic in addition to seeing yoose gize again.

Yankeefest '11.

Mystic Seaport is cool. After hours, you have an entire 18th century whaling village to yourself. Gonna be fun.

I've gotta make it this year. I'll start planning now instead of waiting until the last minute and being blindsided by airfare increases. I'm guessing there are no different options for flying into Mystic than there were for Greenport.

We'd love to make this trip. We bought our boat from Mystic Seaport - a donation to the museum. What a beautiful place! Our memorable experience was almost getting tossed from an Irish pub in Mystic when the Admiral asked for a Corona beer!

Dan, how did this weekend get selected. If my memory is any good, the CRS may be getting worse maybe, last year I remember a vote. ??

I have a conflict that weekend, but would like to attend.

Bird,

For Mystic, you want to fly into Providence (TF Green AP) as a first choice. About 35 minutes away.

Second choice is Hartford. About an hour and 15 away.

Southwest flys into both.

Well it was much easier this year since it is always around the end of July which was said last year seems to always work the best. Then it was what weekend is available at the Seaport. Believe it or not they have a lot of clubs all ready booking, then it is a matter of the Dinner out of 6 places only one viable choice was left.

Hope you can make it can't see anything more Important ;) not like your getting married again.

Dan,

Let me know how I can help. I'll most likely be driving in.

We're gonna do our best to be there. Already have 2 weeks slated for August I may to juggle to make it happen. Location too cool to miss.

Dan - any idea on deadline for reservations or is it first come first serve?

We have until June to hold the dock slips then they rent them.
The big thing is the # for the dinner and all the reservations on that end.
If you want to go to the dinner please let me know ASAP. Thanks Dan

Reservations for dinner? No shrimp boil?

They don't like the Idea of me having all the Fire around all that Old wood!!!!
Go figured I haven't burn anything for a while now :)

It turns out you really can't do anything on Dockside since they do all sorts of catering.

FYI

You can get dinners delivered to your boat now and they can even do a Cocktail hour or two aboard your vessel If one chose too. They seemed to be expanding the Catering part it is called Coastal Gourmet probably some sort of contract between them. All info is on the Seaports website.

I am sure we can do a small cocktail party Friday night for a meet and greet. That will be figured out when we arrive as to best spot but we will be doing it again.

Hi Guys
Sounds great! I just emailed my wife with the dates. I'm currently on a friend's 61' jim Smith chasing sailfish in Isla Mujeres Mexico. Simply amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan,

Sorry for the delay in responding. The Guppy (1982 48 Series I MY) will be there with four (4) POB. Monica and I will be joined by Bob and Gayle of the 48 Series I MY, Chateau DaMar. I will contact the dockmaster within the next day or two. Sounds like a great place to hold the event.

Walt

Dan,

Sorry it took so long to chime in. Been a hectic few month's. However my second mate Sho Jerome is doing great. Been swamped with wortk etc.... Thanks to Walt I am even aware of this. Question, is there a train station close by? I am trying to see who is coming as well.

I should be talking to the dock master sometime next week. It really depends on how much vacation we have left to play with now that Maternity Leave chewed up a chunk!
