That's what I call a live aboard with room for a basketball court and a dance floor. :D

A friend of mine has inspected that craft the "Hornbeam" and found her to be in very nice condition. He made an offer but was unable to come to terms with the seller. Small world, huh?

This is where old buoy tenders go. The spar took a ton of dough to environmentaly clean up. 'Bestos,( miles of wire insulation !) LBP, PCBs and believe it or not, RADIUM from the compass cards and various dials etc.
Gotta love the GVRNMT. Yer tax dollars at work !! ws

When you buy it, you'll have enough bunks for all of us to do the first cruise with you :D :D

It's in Baltimore Harbor, I think!!! the boat actually looks very good. What about a group buy....if we all chip in, we can own it together. C'mon guys, opportunity knocks....

We can keep it at the big game fishing club in bimini ws

We'll have to get her fitted with some 'riggers and fightn' chairs. Oh and one heck of a long gaff.

I was a little surprised to see it on that auction site. It sure would be a neat mothership. The upkeep has got to be outrageous and 28,000 gal of fuel would be a good ding in the pocketbook too.

guys...be careful! You really need to read the fine print on these auction sites. I am surprised NONE of you noticed yet that this boat clearly states it does NOT come with a trailer!! I know, I can hardly believe it myself but really, getting a custom trailer made probably would be a little expensive.

I will only go in on a group buy if we can negotiate a proper trailer. do you all agree?

:D :D :D

We'll have to see if Hatteras could do a refit so it is up to our standards! I want a queen birth at least....

I'll go in but I need my cabin with a view and to be far from the engine room ,and I'll need my own cradle on deck so I can bring a flats boat and some toys . ;) I'll share ..
The crane on the side looks like it will do just fine for ths toys..
Maybe we can make some money transporting stuff ( legal ) :D

I'm in! We can cruise virtually anywhere we want!

With "global warming" maybe they'll take a low offer. Probably not much ice these days in the Inner Harbor :D

If Hatteras won't/couldn't do it I'll bet Slane could.

I got a Miller Matic 2010 combo welder dual gas ,that will do some fine welding I think on that boat we'll need a full time welder and painter :D Just give me some time to get the divorce papers out of the way :D Jaques custooue' ? watch out
