As everyone knows, boat insurance in Florida is high. And as a full time liveaboard, your choices are very limited. Had been with ACE till they left the state.
For the past few years, Great Lakes,UK have been the "cheapest".
This year, I got my renewal, it went DOWN a whopping $40.... To $3840.
But again I did some checking and this was the surprise, Boat/US came in at $3400. Plus they offered a lot more coverage.
In years past, Boat/US has run $1500-2000 more than any other quote for other companies.
You just never know....
