Hatteras Model
53' EXTENDED DECKHOUSE (1983 - 1988)
Here I go again into that dark topic for me ... Electrical.
53 ED Pilot House port wall electrical plugs show they not grounded even after I replaced with new plugs. All other port plugs show grounded. Service 1electrical panel breaker for the upper level port switches and plugs appears to not work since it pops but all plugs still work. Do I have a grounding problem or do I need a new breaker? If former, what/where do I look?

if you re talking about ground (green wire) in a typical AC system, it has nothing to do with circuit breakers, ground is always on.

check for a diconnected ground wire near your ground terminal.

if the breaker pops but the outlet still works, then you have a problem... are you sure these outlets aren't few by another circuit?

can you run a new ground wire from pilot house to a ground wire that you know is grounded?
