On the 53 ED MY any idea where I might find the circuit breaker for the motorized flybridge hatch cover? I checked the 32 VDC port engine room breakers as well as the DC panel in the pilothouse but nothing is labelled specifically for that unit.

Motor worked at the end of last season, but now it's dead as a door nail. No clicks or groans to indicate it's getting any power at all. Yard guy flipped a bunch of breakers that normally remain on during winterization and I figure he somehow inadvertently shut it off.

Whole thing seems to be the answer to a question nobody asked. Kinda like the wine dispenser that can dispense four different bottles of wine, but hey, I guess the wealthy do things differently! Lol.

That's not standard equipment so who knows what was done. My guess would be that they ran it from the easiest, shortest place so look under the flybridge helm. Trace the wires from in there to the source. Maybe there is a 32v to 12v converter behind the helm powering it as I doubt its a 32v unit.

I agree with Sky that was not standard equipment but what a cool idea.

Sounds like a bad idea to me. I hate waiting for something I can do manually in a just a couple of seconds. Also just another thing to fail.

These things are always very slow. I agree they have to be 12 or 24 V

It s like pneumatic doors... I used to run a boat with a penmatic system for the salon sliding door. What a pita. We would only have it active while underway to prevent the door from slamming around. Otherwise people would press the button and because it took a full second for the door to react they d press again and again confusing the heck out of the poor door :)

For hatches unless really heavy I prefer gas lifts
