More electric light in 53MY bow compartment ??

I'm sure someone has added more lighting to the bow stateroom of a 53MY - I want more light in general but specifically want good illumination over the cabinet top on the port side. What's the best way to do that? I don't really want to mess with the headliner if I don't have to.

Also...if three 12V LED lights are wired in series, will they provide decent illumination if powered from the 32VDC system?

I am sure this is not what you were looking for, but I just got a nice med size table lamp from bed, bath, and beyond. I think I have a 50 w bulb in there, but what I really like is how the light shows off the varnish. Much of the time I keep the light on even when nobody is even in there, because it makes it look less like a cave.
