Hatteras Model
52' CONVERTIBLE (1983 - 1990)
Does anyone know what happened to this company?

Bay Propeller
3231 S Military Hwy, Chesapeake, VA 23323
Phone:(757) 485-5681

When we purchased our 52c a year ago the props we sent to them to be reconditioned.
Have not been able to reach them by phone or email to get them back.

They went out of business February 1, 2016.

Tim

Is Murphy's still aroudn

I had props and a shaft done by them October 2015. They where good, and said very busy too.

Does anyone know if they just closed doors and walked away, or did someone buy the place?
Or does someone know the owners?

Would like to find our props vs buying another set.

Also, what are the wheels other 52's are running, 3 blade or 4 blade

Thanks

Scott

Thanks, I have the 3 bladed set that was on the boat, was trying to recover the spare set, hate seeing that many $$$$ disappear.

afraid to mention it the junk i will have to deal with

I have two choices qsm11 700 hp

just as late as friday a pair of the new cat c/9 have come up on the horizon 1000 hp

one or the other is going to happend very soon

The cats are comming out of a new repower with about 300 hours they are not happy with speed so they are putting c18 in their place. they have not come up with a $ amount for the cats. I have ridden in the boat they are smooth and quiet. They will put the old girl in the 30+ knot cruise range. Less weight and less fuel burn not so bad for the old girl......The guys at Hatteras do not believe it will be a keel walker. My 892s have a deposit on them subject to the repower

I heard you were actually fitting a mast and sails. I am seriously disappointed.

C9 at 1000 hp. That's new to me. Could you mean 12.9?

Yes he does. Not sure how they'll get more performance from C18's. Similar HP and more weight.

Cummins parts are cheaper than golden-cast iron.
