MD Boatyard

I am looking for a reputable, full service boatyard in the Pasedena/Annapolis MD area to complete a window removal and installation for a Hatteras owner and forum member. Any experiences or recommendations ,both good and bad, would be appreciated.

Skipjack Landing and Marine Center. great boat yard and great people. I was there last year prepping our then 34' for the trip home. they are located across the bay bridge from Annapolis in crab alley on Kent island. They changed owners recently but I heard it's the same people there. Look them up.

Can highly recommend Anchor Bay East marina on Bear Creek in the Patapsco, just outside the Baltimore Harbor. Art Cox is the owner and has a very capable crew.

I just sent a lengthy PM to McThruster on my experiences regarding this project. A handy boater with time can do it himself. Warm and clear weather may be in issue.

Several of my LRC friends and I have been thru Anchor Bay in the last year or so. All good reviews. He gets you in and out, doesn't have room to keep boats too long. Not cheap, but fair and skilled workers.

Unfortunately, no. They have been purchased by Sea Ray (et al) dealer Clarks Landing. It's a whole new ball game there now. Too bad.

Osprey and Phipps are both at Herrington Harbor North. I hear they do pretty nice work. My experience with everyone at Herrington has always been very good. The link is a pdf that shows all the contractors at the North Yard their rates and what they do.

What ever happened to Wilkins in Annapolis? Years ago we had work done there and they did a great job. I'm sure they must go by another name now if they exist at all.

Wilkins has been gone for at least ten years.

I've used a couple of the contractors at Harrington Harbor North with good success.

Thank you all for the advice and recommendations including the do it yourself version for handy Hatt owners. I have sent 2 new Hatteras owners to the forum this week. Hopefully they will reciprocate with more valuable ideas and solutions. What an extremely valuable tool for Hatt owners!
