Mack Isle Labor Day

Fun post that I tried to get a slip at Mack Isle for Labor Day. But full up. So I'll drive up early and be first in the Harbor Fleet. Usually get a slip right away. My guess is that it'll be 30 years before Mack City ever fills up those two marina's.

Since the Island has a 20% of slips are for transients policy, I went ahead and got a Thurs slip. They said if I ask, which I will, then I am the first name on the Harbor Fleet list, i.e. the transients. I'm sure I will be able to stay in the same slip. So that's a relief.

Well, now have to get ready for roughing it on the Island. That means listening to the band in the Pink Pony late at night from the aft deck!!
