Yes it hit an unmarked rock and sank. I know of Hatts that hit things and sunk, what is the point?

If I was trying to make a point, my text would have been a declarative sentence, ending in a period or explanation point. Since my sentence ends in a question mark, it is obviously a question. Why the hypersensitivity about a simple question?

Pete

no hypersensitivity, I just thought you were going to grind the axe some more.

So, let me try again, anyone know the details of the boat and its fate. The only info I have is that it was in Alaskan waters. Based on the person in divers gear on the forward deck, and the inflated recovery tubes, it must have gone down completely. Based on the Furuno radar scanner, this is either an older picture or older boat, as the scanner looks like mine, and has not been made for 10 years. From my first response, I assume it is a Nordy, but correct me if I am wrong. Anyone know what was done with the boat?

Pete

I believe that pic is from a couple years ago. There was a story on it I believe in Passgemaker. It is a Nordy and the couple were on an extended cruise and were livaboards. It hit an uncharted rock. The boat was salvaged. That is all I remember and it is Alaska.

Corect me if I'm wrong I had no idea it was a Nordy. Your so full of it.

It's actually a Hat LRC that someone re fitted with a Nordy superstructure. It was reported that one of the engines fell through a hole in the bottom caused by a blister which caused it to sink.
