Any ideas on how to easily tighten loose spray rails (factory). Outboard fuel tank access is limited at best and Stevie Mac tells me they are through bolted. As always thanks in advance. 1976 46C

They are bolted, but they usually lasy a layer of glass over the nuts. I have a 83 46 and they are sort of accessable. You might have to cut a access panel in the cockpit and reach down. The bolts might have to be replaced.
Just a thought, but what about glassing them to the hull from outside?

Glassing them sounds like a good idea. I removed mine, as I am having Tom Slane make me fiberglass ones, and to get the old ones off...I had to break the bolts apart using a pry bar between the hull and the rail. I had no access to the nuts, as my fuel tanks, and exhaust are right in the way. I was thinking of a good way to secure the new ones, and that might be the way to go...Any other ideas??? I'm driving up to Slane Marine on Friday to get them and my air vents, so the first week of June, they'll be going on the boat.
