No, one engine is claimed to be good and one is described as needing a head and liner after loosing a turbo and subsequent overheating.

Did they tear it down to come to that conclusion or may there be some more "surprises" when they dig in to it? (There always are.....)

I was told that one engine is fine with about 400 hours/2010 since long block and heads through the salon door. Other engine was inframed in 2017 and is currently down. And yes all kinds of things could be wrong.

Every catastrophic failure I’ve seen other than overheat or oil loss has been mechanic related soon after overhaul.

Unfortunately it is all too common, and not just in the boating business. On of the reasons I do as much as I can myself.
