  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
Not Currently A Hatteras Owner
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced late 80's early 90's CMY in the 70 foot range? Several out there on Yachtworld but know nothing about their real life condition and care of the engines and related mechanical equipment.

Anywhere east of the Mississippi.

does it have to be a cpmy or will a motoryacht do?

I have been aboard Willaway 1994 70' in Stuart and she is a star. She's not cheap, but she's probably worth it.

BigBill, I have seen many beautiful motoryachts and really like the added space offered in the
saloon however, because of so many personal requirements the cockpit offers a tremendous
advantage to us. So, at this time anyway, I have to go with CPMY.

Thanks for thinking about though.

Eric, You are right - she is beautiful. I love the fresh paint, engines and tasteful decor throughout. Now if they would adopt me or get the price where I could afford her I'd be in business.

I'll keep her on the "wish" list.

Thanks for the reply.

Eric, Took another look at Willaway and have to admit anyone would be proud to have such a
beautiful boat. I can see why the price is where it is with the obvious care and attention given.
Just wish I had deeper pockets.

She will make someone very happy.

You can probably buy a 70 CPMY for $300K in today's market. But IMHO for even double or triple the difference in purchase price, the $300K boat will not look like Willaway even if you paid ask for her.

70' beside me in New Bern went on the market last week, check United yacht sales under John Peterson? Boats name is LaBelle. Hate to lose my neighbor but very nice condition.....

Already put this one on the radar. We are taking a driving vacation starting November to check out several and New Bern was on the list for more reasons than just looking at a used boat. Thanks for the info - she looks good on the internet.

Thanks. We are taking a driving vacation starting the end of October/First of November and hope to be able to find the perfect one.

Hi Jim and Kara,

Nice to see you posting!

We should get caught up--lost my 34C and bought a 52C in San Diego and back now to Marina Bay. Long adventure there...

PM me for new email.

See pics in my account here.
