Any recommendations on substitute paints to match the original finish light ash interiors of the 1990 vintage? My owners manual Has some info:

MATERIAL
Pearl Essence Toner RELIANCE 430-W5-533
Topcoat RELIANCE 366-70L5-744.

There is zero info on the Internet about these paints.

Instructions in the owners manual:

INTERIOR: (1) Sand the walls with 180 Grit sandpaper (2) Remove all dust with tack rag (3) Spray one coat of stain on wall (very light coat) Blend as necessary (4) Let dry (5) Spray a second coat of stain on wall (light coat) (6) Let dry (7) Spray a coat of "topcoat" on wall (very light) (8) Wait 24 hrs., scruff walls with 30 micron paper (9) Remove all dust with tack rag (10) put a heavy coat of 70 sheen topcoat

Is this the finish on your boat? We took a cabinet door to the paint store and had them do an "eye match" on an oil based semi gloss paint color that blended with the stain color. With some artistic dry brush technique we made some touch ups that worked out very well. Some of the surfaces like moldings that were beat up and worn at the edges of the counter tops, we just painted them out. I think it turned out well. It's more art than science, with a healthy dose of trial and error. As always YMMV.
