Everting on my left side breaker panel on the 50a is out. I’ve checked fuses and switches, unless I’m missing something dumb… only culprit left is the double 50a for that side, right? I don’t think those went bad without knowing they are bad? (Ie tripping off).I ordered a new one, but what else do I check in the meantime?

You need to share what size and year to help you. When you said you checked all of the fuse and breakers did that include the screw in cartridge fuse next to the 50 amp cockpit plug? Need a meter to check continuity since you cant see the inner filament. Also make sure power tower on the dock has not tripped.

1973 58 YF.Power on the pole is ok as is the right side of the panel.

Sounds like a possible shot gun fuse. Have you checked them?

I did replace one of them, port side few weeks ago because it looked bad. I'll pop new ones in and see...There's another in the starboard room, not sure that switch is the one I need but no harm in a new one in both.

Need a meter to confirm incoming leg is hot, then from point A to B, B to C and so on. At some point there is a break. Could even be on one side of a 2 pole breaker. They do fail sometimes. A meter shows exactly where the voltage is lost. Please understand that after the main is confirmed you must meter across points on the legs. Voltage across a broken leg (like a fuse) will show voltage you are reading from the other leg through windings of motors (compressors and such). Weird, I know. Takes some getting used to. Zero volts across 2 points with both having 120 to ground or neutral confirms that point is good. Perhaps Sky or boatsb could explain that in simpler terms.

New breaker in, no go. No blown fuses or cartridges.Dock pole is good, so are those breakers and I even switched poles to be sure. Cockpit breaker is good. … there is a Hubble push button breaker looks like on the starboard side… (not the port main breaker. Any idea what that push button breaker is ? Looks like it may have gotten wet.

What does it do on generator?

Turns out it was intermittent one pole on the shore power cord. Just to close the thread.
