LED Nav Lights?

I would like to replace the navigation lights on my 76 36C. The green glass is warped/melted due to the temp of the bulbs. No melting problem with the red and both sides have the same bulb. Have any of you found an LED replacement that "fits" in the current spot?

Finding an LED that will fit may be the easy part. Finding one that is bright enough to met code might be a little tougher.

Replaced all my nav lights with LED last summer... MUCH BRIGHTER than the existing bulbs.. Heck, the anchor light is the brightest one in any anchorage we've been in since putting the LED bulb in

I havent replaced all my Nav lights because I do not use them as much. However, I did replace my anchor light and like you said its the brightest in the group. It stands out like a beacon. Its that tall skinny bulb thats sort of large. This is a site that has some LED's. I cant remember what I bought from them.

Thanks for the information from the responses. I like the idea of LED's, I admit I have not given thought to using them on the boat. Going to put an order in after I decide where to buy them, gotta look for a good price ya know.
