  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
43' DOUBLE CABIN (1970 - 1984)
Lilly Marie came with the KVH, connected to two tv's but after 2 years, I noted that when we are on the boat, we are busy with other things and just do not get around to watching much TV.

The dome is in the upper left of the photo, sitting there unused.

I just removed the whole system together with 50 feet of cables. It is a complete unit, I believe installed in 2005. We had it connected to Digital TV for 2 years, 2009-2011 and the few times we tried, it worked fine. It is a complete unit. I do not know what it is worth. Someone has the same unit on Ebay asking $1700, I do not think it is worth that and am open to offers. If you are interested, send me a PM. How to ship it from Pascagoula, Mississippi is a good question.

Hi Vincent. We have this system. Before shipping, remove the plastic cover over the antenna and secure the mechanism from turning. I don't have the manual with me at the moment but I do recall having to remove a screw before activating the unit.
Regards,

Michael,

Thanks. I checked the manual and found the shipping instructions. It does not appear too complicated.

The manual also indicates that the system uses a 11-16v DC power supply. That may be an issue for 24v or 32v systems.

Hope Irene treated you OK.

Vincent, we have this system as well. Works exactly as described and we love it.
The voltage isn't a problem for the 24/32V owners, as most of us have converters.
While the original Hatt systems run 32V, we still have things like Chartplotters, VHF, Depth Sounders, etc. that are 12v....

These are nice units....replacing with todays newer models is a huge investment ($6,000-$12,000).

Not sure what yours is really worth, but sounds like you'll make someone a nice deal.

Jeff,
Thanks for the information.

Dave
