I have an older (circa 1978) Kenyon analog anemometer that has separate gauges for wind speed and apparent direction. When I bought the boat a few years ago the sending unit (direction finder & wind speed vanes) had already been removed. Anyone have any ideas on where to find what I'm calling the sending unit? I'm in the Great Lakes area.
The gauges appear to be in good physical shape but I'm unsure of their working condition. Are there any rudimentary tests I can do to verify the gauges would still function?
