Lovely old boat. The right engines, too.

Is that a McIntosh stereo amp in there?

It's kind of big for a lot of places up here on the Chesapeake, but you could get into Annapolis, St. Michaels, Baltimore. The asking price from Curtis Stokes was $750K. It will be interesting to see what she brings. My guess is $400K plus, but who knows? I can't imagine what the maintenance costs are on a boat this big. To me, she looks like an ocean liner.

As much as I like and respect Hatteras, they are low end compared to Burger. A friend had a 72' Burger built in the '60s. It was professionally maintained to premium yacht standards at a cost of about $260K per year and that was in the '80s. He owned it for more than 20 years and ran it himself.

Did it sell?

Anyone know? None of the websites are updated. Just wondering if I can keep the fantasy going ....

It s more than cook, it s drop dead gorgeous... I love the lines and proportions of these old burgers

I ran together with them across Ockeechobbee and down to Palm Beach three years ago.
The boat was pristine.
