I am in the process of installing an inverter on my 43 DC.
It has automatic transfer built in. So I am wiring it as a pass through to the main panel. I split the 2 sides into inverted loads and non inverted. Input from main breaker to a new 30 amp double breaker for the hot and neutral and green wire to the common bus adjacent to the panel.
Now all the info I have read indicate that only hot and neutral are returned (output) back to my panel. Also that marine inverters will automatically connect the ground.
While the inverter output has hot, neutral and ground connections.
Where should this ground be connected ?
Thanks,
