Hello all you HO's. Of course I mean that in a good way, (Hatteras Owners).
I am new to the forum but and do not own a Hatt but hope to in another 5 years. Mine and wifes plan is to retire and live aboard in the next six or so years. Both of us love being on the water.
We were both raised with boats and are currently on our 4th boat. It's funny that a lot of people get 'twofootitus' but my last boat was a 24'cc and current is a 43'SF. I was always told to "go big or go home" and that brings me here to the HOF.
We love the older boats and fixing them up. To me its more satisfying doing things yourself and making them your own. We plan to get a CPMY in the 55-70 foot range so I can still fish off the back or troll to the Bahamas. I don't mind the DD's at all as my current boat has the 692's.
Thanks for letting me be a part of the HOF and hopefully my wife and I will own one soon.
If its permitted I would love to share some of the upgrades that we've done on our 43' Viking sportfish.
