40w or tung oil.

My preference is Watco teak oil. If you give it an extra day of dry time between applications, it becomes harder. Don't forget to clean well before you apply the oil. If it is not real bad, Murphy's will work. If you need to remove soot and finger oils, try rubbing alcohol.

We've used PENOFIN's Marine Oil Wood Finish for 8 years and have been extremely happy with it. Easy to apply resulting in a beautiful lustrous satin finish.
