Intercoolers for 8V71TI

Anybody out there have any suggestions as to where to buy intercoolers for an 8V71TI Detroit???

Would appreciate any leads, names phone numbers.

I just replaced one about 3 months ago--there kinda pricey. Don't call detroit they will rip U off. I will call my guys to find out who they use--they use one of the companies that makes them for detroit. If you can't use them direct I am sure the company here will get you one and ship it.

Thanks. Still interested in the Intercooler Info. Have gotten a price on Re-mans and New as well, but as you said, still very pricey.

I Own a 1973 45C Series I. I am running 28X30 - 4 blade with what they call a "light" cup. Boat runs 20 knots at 2040 RPM with 8V71TI's @ 450HP per. Please note, my performance is real but I have done some custom things.

1. Single Piece shafts with Shaft tubes.
2. Slane Air Vents
3. The 4 blade props.
4. Lifting Rails
5. A very Fair (barrier coated) bottom (there are only 3 coats of paint on it)

When they get the gallery back up, if it's still there, I posted some pictures of my grand old lady. Been working on a face lift the last couple of years and she's looking better than ever.
