  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
46' CONVERTIBLE-Series I (1974 - 1981)
On my 871 TI's I removed intercoolers( 2 cores per engine so 4 cores) to be dipped and pressure tested.
What should this cost?
Thanks

Definite;y find somebody that can do ultrasound cleaning. WAY better than dip and squirt. Also make sure they back flush them first to get any impeller pieces out of the intake manifold, which is permanently installed and hard to see into. Be careful with the torque on the bolts when retightening the halves together because they can bend the flanges easily. Sorry, don't know costs, maybe $50 each for ultrasound?

Thanks, inqired around locally but could not find anyone offering ultrasound.
The dip and test is 45-50 each

I had mine done by 3 Star Radiator marine division when I was in Sarasota, but I mailed it to them and they mailed it back in 4 days. More expensive, but perfect... looks new when it comes back! They are in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. See them here: http://www.3starradiator.com/marine-cooling.html
