Hi All,
A lot of folks have enjoyed my trips down to the shipyard so I've decided to continue them as installments predicated on my ability to get down there. Thanks for all the feedback and PM's.
I managed to get down to the shipyard today to see what’s new and here's what I found.....
The first 3 images are of a really big express motor yacht on the hard for bottom paint and prop tuning. (notice how tiny the bow thruster is for such a large boat)
The next 3 images are of the propulsion system of this boat, which I've heard of and viewed in pictures but never had an opportunity to see it in real life. so I was quite curious. (amazing omnidirectional capabilities, yard technician said the props would cost 2 years of his salary)
The next 3 images are things that caught my eye. The color of the sailboat is amazing, the classic motor yacht in the shed looks immaculately kept, and I'm tempted to buy that houseboat and plunk in in the middle of the harbor and catch a nap in the evening.
