Installation of Fuller Brush port gaskets

I just received the new port gaskets I purchased from Sam's Marine. I hope to install them this evening, as it has been raining quite regularly here.

Are there any tricks to the removal of the old gaskets or installation of the new ones which I should know?

Dig the old ones out with a small screwdriver. Once you get them started, they just pull right out. Orient the new ones so that the seam is at the top and simply push them in.

Removal of old gaskets and install of replacement gaskets was easy.
