Inside Step Bulb Size

One of the bulbs that lights the steps down to my VIP stateroom is out. Unfortunately, I can no longer read the code on it. I am guessing it is 24V. It is a festoon shape bulb that appears somewhat short and fat compared to a tubular shape. I think the length is about 1.5" Any ideas what size it is for ordering some new ones (base size etc.) Thanks.

I know your pain. Can you post a pick ? My boat is 24v and maybee i can find one in my inventory or maybee i can tell you what it is. There are several web sites that show the bub and list the voltage .Seems as if i googled marine lighting 24 volts or it was yacht lighting 24 volts.

I just ordered these. By eyeballing it online and measuring as best I could from the remains of the bulb I have, it appears to be right:

Qty: 10 @ $0.96 = $9.60


I expect receipt of the bulbs in about a week and will report back when I can confirm that they are/are not the right bulbs.

Good luck if i can help just pm me i will do my best. If you are closs to west marine they have the bulbs in stock. Anyway they are in the Morehead city store. I have a whole drawer full of 24 volt stuff i bought from a mariner going out.
