They rebuilt both helms and the ram a few years ago when I repowered. Good job, reasonable and quick turn around.

Thank you everyone for your input. The senders are on the way to Charlie. I will let you know how the experience was. So far all good with his communication and estimate

Please confirm that it is ethylene glycol mixed 50/50 with distilled water is the correct fluid to use for the shifter hynautic system. I know the steering hynautic uses different fluid

I thought it was just Glycol.
I still have the Hynautic fluid on hand.
Always captured, filtered and kept any old stuff.

It can either be propylene or ethylene. Propylene is the non toxic anti freeze and the ethylene is what is used in engine antifreeze. This is how I understand it.

I am delighted to report that I got my sender units back for my bridge and they are perfect. Capt Charlie from Southern Charm rebuilt them. Got them back in a timely manner and could not be more pleased on the excellent service that he provided. My wife and I installed them last night and they synced exactly as he said they would.
