I have a 1980 60' Hatteras Sportfish located in New Jersey. I have the original Hynautic R-04 Reservoirs (one on each side; original with rectangular sight glass on exterior) for a three station setup. The port throttle would not get the engine above 1,400 rpms and the rpms would continue to drift downward. I checked the system for leaks this weekend and found there to be a substantial leak from the back side of the top casting where it meets the cylinder. I removed the unit from the boat and was able to disassemble most of the pieces to see if I just needed a new O-Ring set, but couldn't get the top of the unit off. I was able to remove the air/fill plug, the dill plug and the pressure gauge from the top. On the bottom, I removed the center bolt. When I removed the dill plug (center) from the top, the "bolt" had a lot of rusty flakes falling off. I know there was no fluid leak, just air leak. The starboard system is about the same, but doesn't loose air pressure as fast.
Please let me know what parts I would need for replacement. I would need the parts by Thursday afternoon and Teleflex in FL was closed today because of TS Faye.
Thank you very much for your help.
