I'm trying to figure out how each set of senders/slaves is routed through the charging valves block so I can troubleshoot and bleed the associated hydraulic circuits. I figure Hatteras used a common installation convention such that your setup is probably just like mine. If you've already figured out how those tubing circuits are assigned, I'd be grateful if you would share the facts of what you know. BTW, I have a 1987 63' MY.
I've been working with the reservoir and charge block in the starboard engine room. So far, it SEEMS that the leftmost circuit serves the starboard shifter, and the second from left serves the starboard throttle. So only 2 left to figure out, right? But wait... there's more!
Literally. I also have another reservoir and 4-position charging valves block in the port engine room. FWIW, I have 2 helm stations. I've found a number of fellow forum members who have commented that they have separate port and starboard reservoirs as well. None of the Hynautic manuals I've seen show an installation using more than one reservoir and one charging valves block, even for installations using 2 or more control stations. Has anyone solved this mystery?
I'm hoping to fill in a table like this:
Port Charging Valves, positions left to right:
1
2
3
4
Starboard Charging Valves, positions left to right:
1 [starboard pilot house shifter]
2 [starboard pilot house throttle]
3
4
Thanks in advance for any guidance you care to share.
