Does anyone have a source for a rebuilder of the Hynautic Engine Controls ? I know they are not that hard to rebuild ,but some of the parts are pretty corroded and I was hoping to find someone that would be able to handle that issue if sent them out . Also , could I put the lines back together after I remove them from the control so I could use the boat from the other stations while one station is being rebuilt?// Thanks in advance ...................Pat

Pat - I just had mine done by Charman Enterprises. The website is charmanenterprisesinc.com in Indiana. A really nice fellow runs the operation. His name is Mike. Give him a shout. 800-247-6324.

Almost forgot to mention--make sure you get not only your rebuilt controls back but the fittings that were on them when you sent them back. That will save some time and also save you a big head ache.

Thanks John, I thought you'd be the guy that would know. What did they do with the lines while yours were out being rebuilt?? I am hoping that I could connect mine back to themselves and continue to operate from the other stations while they're out?? ............Pat

I did it this past February while the boat was in New York. The boat was decommissioned so moving it was not an option. Mike can get things turned around very quickly if you ask him to do so. Without going into too much detail, I got hung up a bit because he did not return the actual fittings that were attached to the controls when he returned the controls. Although, he did so after it was brought to his attention. He had saved them. One caution--the actual bleeding of the system is a royal PITA and I am convinced that I will have to bleed and re bleed for several months to finally get all of the air out. However, losing you gear(s) while docking is much worse. Let me know how it works out for you.
