HVAC Stainless Raw water manifold

I was doing some routine Maint on my HVAC raw water system, while pulling a hose the SCH 80 PVC manifold assembly broke into two.

Not being one to overthink issues….. I assembled new manifolds using 316 Stainless. Do I need to tie new assembly into
The grounding system or protect w pencil zinc? Thoughts?
