Hurricane season ends today !

Was a bit concerned after we took direct hits by T.S. Alberto,Beryl and Debbie but once again my area hasn't had a hurricane since 1964....

Sadly those of you in the NY and NJ got nailed...

But now, "in theory" the season is over. but I do remember hurricanes forming a bit after the season.....

Thanks for the reminder - any reason for a party, and it’s time for our annual “End of Hurricane Season Party” around here. A couple of days ago, I coiled up my storm lines and put them in my car to take them back to Susan’s house, where I keep all my storm supplies. It’s good to see that stuff gone.

Well, we had our End of Hurricane Season party on Sanctuary, complete with Miami-Dade Fire boat....didn't see THAT coming.

Everybody likes to see the fire boat, right? Well, we girls do because a fire boat means there are fire men. This came by and we told them we had a fire they needed to put out. So, after they docked their boat down the pier, they came back with their big hoses to look for the fire.
