  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
53' MOTOR YACHT (1969 - 1988)
After speaking to Doug Langley and with his permission I am submitting this post.
I have acquired the remaining inventory of the closed Hurley Hatteras operation in Urbanna, Va. Included with the inventory are the fiberglass molds that Hurley used to produce custom hard tops, flybridges, consoles, pulpits, swim platforms and enclosures just to name a few. Hurley produced these items from the 1960's and into the 1980's. So these molds are in conditions ranging from poor to very good. I have no intention of going into the custom boat parts business or the fiberglass molds business. These molds will more than likely be scrapped. I am posting them here with the hopes that someone may be interested in all or some of them. Unfortunately they are stored hap-hazard. Some indoors but most outdoors and piled on top of one another. I do not have an inventory or pictures of the individual molds. I will be at the facility May 7-8 to load inventory and will gladly show the molds to any serious individuals. This process will move quickly so please only inquire if you have the time and means to transport these items. Hurley was a major player in the day of customizing a Hatteras. It is difficult to send these molds for scrap or the land fill. I have decided that $300.00 per mold is reasonable and it will only go to offset the cost to dispose of the remaining.

Timing really sucks. I could've used some of these molds, but they've long been destroyed (I checked back in Feb 2016). Slane also destroyed his flybridge mold for 41c.

Anybody know of molds out there for hard tops, fly bridges, and consoles?

You don't need a mold for a hard top, just a smooth table with the desired crown to lay the glass and foam on.
