  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
41' TWIN CABIN (1965 - 1971)
Some colors work, some don't. I have only ever seen this particular color before on a Sea Ray. It sure looks nice on this big Hatt MY. Spotted her yesterday up the New River in FLL.

Looks nice, kind of gives it a more modern up to date look.

Doesn't look bad. Platform looks like an add on, nicely done but the Aft deck overhang looks like it s been shortened, wonder why.

I suspect the hull was lengthened and the roof wasn't.

it does look good, and wouldn't be TOO hot inside...somewhat hotter than white, but not too much.

BARF!!!! Looks like an overgrown sea ray.

We took a chance and changed the color totally. We really like the look and turn some heads at the marina. Take a look and tell me what you think.

I'm not a fan of the hard top, but that hull color is excellent!

I'm afraid I have to agree. It reminds me of a classic car that somebody turned into... something else. Sea Hatt or Hattdancer would have been a good name for it.

Different strokes for different folks.... I like the hard top as well as the paint job. Retains the classic lines with an up date.

I think the Yachtfish with the red hull and hardtop really looks terrific, but the last thing I'd want in the tropics and southern US is a dark hull color. Have to say I am not too big on the brown in the first photo, but as Walt said, taste is a very personal thing.

You might want to look into a new monitor. Unless I need a new monitor, that hull is gray.

Looks like sea ray beige to me

I just looked at it on three monitors and on two of them it looks gray and on one it looks like what my wife would describe as taupe which is a grayish brown. I like it better on the monitors where it looks gray.

I really like the yacht fish! Personally I find the cockpit to deter from the lines of the MY when white but with the dark hull it really enhances the lines.

The white line under the rub rail is a get nice touch too

Hard top looks good... Overall the boat looks updated but not over the top, well done!

taupe? who comes up with these names? Been in to pick out wall paint lately? there are like 13 million shades of white. All with some cutesy name.

Awlgrip calls the Tan color "Castle Tan". I think the YF looks great, is that "Red Mahogany" or "Claret"?

I'm with you guys...WTF is Mauve, Teal, Ambrosia, etc...????

Are we supposed to apply it or drink it

But then again...There are some strange drinks nowadays too

Remember what the realtor will tell you about the colors in your house. If you like it thats fine but remember the next person may not. It's better to use a neutral color if you ever plan to sell.
