how many gals anti freeze in DD 8V71's ?

Can't put my hands on the manual, anyone know how many gallons anti freeze in DD8V71's. Someone recommended shell, any preferences ??? thanks.

I used DD Powercool antifreeze after I flushed the system last year. It required 12 gal of Anifreeze (to be mixed 50/50 with water) to fill both my 8v71tis. There might be some variation from engine to engine - though I'm not sure what it might be. Buying an extra gallon or two won't hurt.

If you haven't seen it, here's more than you ever needed to know re coolant for these engines. Just be sure whatever brand you use meets DDs specs:

It took 9 gals of antifreeze, which I then diluted with water (50/50) to fill both of my 8V71Ns.

Powercool or Napa carries a brand called FleetCharge that is approved for DD. Use the right stuff for sure.
