Has anyone used the tankless hot water heater such as advertised by
Paul Harvey. If so would like to hear your comments about it. We need
enough hot water for 4 showers before dinner.

I am not sure which is the one advertised by Paul Harvey, but I have a Kabola B-Tap series heater. You can see it at http://www.kabola.nl/En/Product/Btap/frames.html

It is made in the Netherlands but is becoming popular in North America. Mine keeps my engines warm, heats the whole boat (space heating), and provides continuous hot water. You can shower all day and all night.

It has been in the boat for four years (I've only had the boat for about 10 months of that) and apparently has never been shut off in that time - other than when I had it serviced after buying the boat. It could have gone 4 more years probably. The fellow left me the manual and some parts, so I'll do the next service myself (in a couple years).

I don't think they are cheap - but they *are* nice.

Best regards - Murray
