Hot Water Heater Coolant Loop Question

I'm installing an 11 gallon 120 volt hot water heater from Kuuma. My question is where is the best place to tap into the coolant side of the engine? The inlet/outlet on the water heater are 5/8". I'm hoping someone has this setup and would share some info with me... Thank You...

Anywhere before and after the thermostat.
The restriction at the thermostat will divert water thru your water heater.

What engine do you have?
I may have some ideas for you if you can not find anything.

If you can't figure this out, you might try Boatdiesel.com. Also, most trawler yachts are set up like this, with an engine coolant loop heating the hot water heater, so a trawler forum would be helpful. You need a line going out and a return, both with shutoff valves. They don't have to be very big in diameter. You will have VERY hot water when the system is all set up- like 180 degrees. Caution guests accordingly.
