  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
53' EXTENDED DECKHOUSE (1983 - 1988)
Hi folks- this bulb came out of a ceiling fixture in the master stateroom on 1985 53 ED. I think due to the large nipple at the base that it's 32v - still sorting out what's what. Bulb is about 4-5" long. What is it and where can I get it? Several burnt out (including in salon) and need to find replacements.

Thanks,

Cheryl

I think I have a couple. I’ll check next weekend when I’m on the boat. However they came with the boat and I’m not sure where to get them. They came in a package that might have ordering info on them.

The two ceiling fixtures over the bed are 120v. The one overhead in front of the door to the head is 32v.

If you are unsure, the fixture in the ceiling will have the voltage. On ours in the salon, port aft and starboard FW are 32V.

I also thought there was a mix of 110 and 32v in these fixtures- hadn't thought to look on the actual fixture though!

Since we just got the boat I hadn't thought about going to LED just yet (because when I do, I'm the type that will have to do the entire boat in LED), but maybe this will be the impetus ;)

Thanks,

Cheryl

We went to all led, some of the dimmable 110 volt led bulbs work in the 32 volt fixtures at 32 volts. They are a little dimmer but not much. John

I have those on my '79 43C, and they are 110. I have had no problem sourcing them at hardware stores.

I have 120 volt in my master in the ceiling, the hallways are DC 32 volt as well as the forward stateroom. I just ordered 32 volt LED on amazon.
