  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
53' MOTOR YACHT (1969 - 1988)
We've been here for three weeks and weather and water are wonderful. For those of you who have been here it's sort of like Adult Day Care. There are about 270 boats in the harbor and the number will build to about 400 by the time "The Cruisers Regatta " begins in two weeks.

We're the only Hatteras here, however there is a 58yf in hole #3 in storage mode. We did meet Quest the 53' ED MY with no upper helm. They have put over 30,000 miles on the boat in the past year. They are super folks and taken the boat to South America already. She's a beautiful boat but is set up somewhat like a sailboat with alot of 12volt systems like refrig etc.

Cheers,

Ron

Hi Ron and Charm!!

I got your emails and wish I was anchored out there next to you. I saw Quest when she was on my dock for a few days - right across from where you were when you were here. How's the watermaker running for you?

You need to post some photos, or email them to me.

Miss ya!

Giddyup!!!

did you wander in for some free goodies at the Peace and Plenty ?? watch out for the water bills...when we where there my deckhand washed the boat and filled the tanks...$70.00 and that was in 1991.....enjoy....

bout time.............i know its the name of the boat, but it's also bout time you gave us an update on your trip (pictures please) glad to hear all is going well for ya'll. please keep us up to date. we can only dream about this trip right now. bigbill& miss kim

Is that YF named BLue waters? Used to be a few slips from me at DKM q saw it there in Gtown last April

Did you getva chance to explore on the way? Gtown isn't bad but there are many great spots nearby like Rudder Cay, Rat Cay and Lee stocking where you anchor out with (almOst) no one in sight!

Ron, so glad to hear how much fun you guys are having. Don't forget to cruise over to the northwest end of Long Island. You can anchor off one of the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas right in front of the Cape Santa Maria resort. Very few people, just calm pristine waters on the lee side of Long Island. Excellent snorkeling/diving right off the boat. A short dinghy ride away is two excellent "lazy rivers" to dinghy up and float down on the tides. Some of the best the Bahamas out islands has to offer is within 30 miles of you.

We'll be back down there in June/July.

HAVE FUN!

I will check on the YF I think she is Blue Waters, and she's tied up in hole number 3. I'm moving Bout time to a Ball just off Chat and Chill in Gaviotta Bay because on Friday the 18th I'm hosting the first ever Georgetown Dingy Disco Ball. Hope to have over a hundred dinks to surround the boat with flash lights . We will have a continous dragline floating in the water and the idea is that we will try to get the dinks to circle our boat and as they pass the swim platform we will be handing out Runaground Ron's Ready Rabbit Margaritas to all attending.
We have go go dancers, male chippendale dancers and pole dancers on board so it should be a great party.

You know...Charm and you are my kind of people! I knew that the moment I met you two. I wish I could be there in my Hober with a flashlight doing the dance with ya. I miss you two even more now! The Bahamas will never the same. LOL
