Hatteras Model
45' CONVERTIBLE-Series II (1984 - 1992)
If you're in either place, pay attention!

Stan has kicked off a nasty little piece of energy that is emerging into the Yucatan channel. The upper level wind pattern appears to be pointing this thing in the general direction of the lower Keys and then up the coast - likely on the west coast side - anywhere from Marco Island to Cedar Key.

This is NOT yet on the models - in fact, one model is claiming that this thing is going to come towards Pensacola. I don't see it, given the current upper wind patterns, but I could be wrong on that.

Regardless, pay attention the next few days - due to the proximity of this thing there won't be a lot of warning if it does start to crank and aim at you.

yep... from the lates Trop. disciussion:

AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER HAS DEVELOPED OVER AND EAST OF THE
YUCATAN PENINSULA THIS MORNING. THIS SYSTEM IS NOT WELL ORGANIZED
AT THIS TIME...BUT SURFACE PRESSURES ARE LOW IN THE AREA. UPPER-
LEVEL WINDS COULD BECOME FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT
DAY OR SO AS THE SYSTEM MOVES NORTH-NORTHEASTWARD.

Good Grief! Here we go again… :(

Looks like we got lucky this time.... It got sheared apart and just turned into a bunch of rain....

For now.... it may not be done though - I'm out of town and can't follow it well right now...
