We will start south after the MTOA rendezvous in Cambridge. It'll be a slow and easy trip because my insurance keeps me north of Cape Hatteras until November 1. Hope to see some of you along the way.

Pascal, when do you start south? I look forward to your navigational observations again.

Hi Bob,

We plan to start to Florida about the third week in October and plan to stay at Loggerhead Marina for the winter. Loggerhead is the old Harborage marina and Yacht Club in Stuart. but on your side of the river.

We are currently on the hard in Hampstead NC about 15 miles north of Wilmington, NC. We are currently at the boat but leaving today in the Truck/Camper to spend the next three weeks in the Chesapeake area. Where are you currently?? Are you on the move?? Maybe we could hook up and have a drink or something.

Cheers,

Ron

We'll be leaving here around the end of October headed back to Marathon for the winter. Love the trip, well most of it anyways. Bill

Darn! Sure wish you and Charm were staying at Dinner Key for the winter, instead. :(

Ron,

I'm at BYC, but will be driving to Wilmington, DE next week and then down to DC. Gayle is in Ohio for a family matter and returns Tuesday. Trying like heck to get the Chateau ready to go. Engines and trans' are good, generator is apart for a fuel leak that I've been chasing for months. Need oil changes etc and a check ride with full tanks and mech aboard to try to locate the source of one final fuel leak. Give me a call.

i'm going to fly up to NAntucket around oct 1st, i usually stop a few days in CT. so i'll probably leave NY/LIS around the 10th or so, taking it slow since we can't cross into FL until nov 1st.

will post my notes as usual. I wonder what Irene (and maybe Katia) will have done to the ICW where it crosses inlets...

My concern as well. Maybe others will also post their observations.

Hi Girl, well the Loggerhead Marina Organization has a group of Marinas on the east coast of Florida that have a reciprical arrangements so that we can stay at any one of them for up to two weeks and all we have to pay is the electricity , so we actually plan to use that provision during the winter so that we can stay in different Marinas. They have one in Miami so watch out we may be coming your way soon!!

Meanwhile everyone is so nice in getting and giving me info on Puerto Rico. I can't believe this is Charms idea but since last winter she is much better about blue water passages.

Giddiup,

Ron
