Well .... progress has been made. We gave up on crossing the state of Florida and went down to Marathon and on up the ICW after Hawks Channel.
We did most of Georgia today with all it's problems (not bad if you play the tides) and are now in Savannah. Will be in SC tomorrow. The 53 Hatt has stood proud in every Marina! Biggest learning experience is that they are not a shallow water boat. Speed drops big time as water depth goes down, plus forget trying to get on top. Can't wait to hit the fresh water of the Great Lakes.

Glad to hear things are going well. Keep us posted on the progress. Fresh water awaits you when you get partway up the Hudson.

How is your height? My arch does not fold down. Make sure you check that before you get up there.

Boat has hinged arch and we are planning the Welland. Have name of a good ex Welland guy that will go with us.

Are you doing ICW to MD. offshore to NYC, up the Hudson to the Erie?

If so, good for you. That's my dream cruise but not sure if it will ever become reality for me.
