  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
53' MOTOR YACHT (1969 - 1988)
I have three Crown Head IIs. One won't fill up w/water after flushing. I've checked the filter and all the water lines - no issues. It appears that when I release the button, water flow into the bowl stops sooner than it does on the other two. I did replace the Joker Valve as the old one had worn out and wasn't holding water - now it does. I also checked the holes under the rim where the water comes into the bowl & they don't appear to be obstructed. Can't figure out what to do next...

Freshwater or seawater? Has it changed or always been this way?

If it's salt water you probably have a worn intake impeller which will reduce the water flow , it's located at the small end of the motor , the end where the wires connect.

Freshwater, and this is a change. Bowl used to fill w/about 3 cups of water.
