Head Performance

Galley Maid Head is running very slow and weak, just replaced motor last season with new unit. 12 V unit. Is or can a slightly weak battery cause poor performance on this unit. The slightest bump slows it down to near stop.

Yes. They are voltage sensitive. Check the voltage at the motor when running. I bet it is low. Also a clogged discharge will bog them down to a near stop.

Check the cable size. To small of cable feeds will slow it down along with bad ends.
