Head exhaust vents screens

I am trying to locate repplacements for these:


The boat is a 1984; 53 MY, but I have seen these on other hatts up to 1989. Does anyone have a source?

Yes, i have searched their catelog of part descriptions without any luck. Steve and Mike are great but they were not able to help me on this one.

I replaced all of mine with these... look and work great. The ducting you currently have is screwed to the wall. If you remove the screws, the duct will fit in between the outer and inner flange tabs of this vent cover.

How are the old ones held in place? That is one of the most cost effective things I've seen for improving looks.

Neat. Are our vents three or four inch? Two of mine are simply slots above the medicine cabinet, but the third one is of this type.

The site "seas the moment" posted is the same source I got my replacements from. They are easy to install and look great.

FYI once you remove the mesh screen, there are two small screws (not readily evident) that hold the stainless ring to the wall.

ATTENTION: I must correct an earier statement I made here.

I keep a detailed list of things I buy for the boat and I also keep a running list of thing I want to buy. These vents have been on that list since I purchased her over a year ago. I was checking my list and it had no resolution for this item which means I had NOT ask Sam's.

I just ask Steve about these and sure enough I hadn't checked with Sam's yet.

They have them in stock listed as part number 12861.

Quick question- how do you remove these vent grills?

Luckily someone here told me to check for two scrws located behind the screen. The screen is in the shape of a basket and pushes into the frame (Cromed ring). removed the screen and you should see the two screws. after they are removed the ring simply pulls out of the wall. I replced all three of mine yesterday.
