Haul Out and Engine replacement

We finally did our haul out and replaced the engines. I posted pictures in the gallery.

We were afraid to see the bottom as when we purchased her in May 2007 she had taken on water and was in poor condition.

Much to our surpise her bottom looked good only three quarter size barrier blisters. This made my job easy as I was in charge of the bottom.

She was in and out in 4 days...replaced engines and trannys and bottom cleaned and painted!!!

Thanks to everyone who helped answer my questions over the last year or so.

Have you sea trialed yet? What are the differences? Speed, noise levels, handling? Are you glad you went with the Perkins or would you do it differently if you had to do it over?

We are awaiting new motor mounts and shaft couplings, The old ones were rusted so we are replacing. As soon as we get those installed then sea trial.
